Revelation; the word with many interpretation. To the Driver, revelation is something new and strange he comes up with when driving. To the Doctor, revelation is what he or she sees during an experiment or carrying out his work. The Pastor will also define it as what is seen in the realms of spirit. Well, I have a different view on that.
On this platform, I define revelation as a series of blog post that outdoors the dreams of children and what some parents expect from their ward(s).
Why: On 1st July 2016, I witnessed an incidence and I was petrified. Randomly, some children were asked what they would like to become in future when a six year old child boldly and happily shouted into a microphone; "I want to be an armed robber". I felt bad and cried out loud. I do not blame the child but the community and of course the parent. And I believe there are similar children out there that needs to be reached. As a passionate advocate, I quickly thought of coming up with an intervention to inspire children and also change mindsets of those with negative dreams,
How: Series of stories focusing on the dreams of children and how their parents do or do not support these dreams, will be shared here to create sensitization on what parents or a sibling of any child should check.
Target Group: This initiative has children as the primary focus. The community is also seen as an integral instrument regarding children's development.
In my little way, this is one of my contribution to help children and the continent, in reaping greater dividends. I humbly exhort you[reader] to pilot this in your community or partner with me if you wish.
